At LFH HQ – Fundamental Fitness Conditioning, today’s post is all about exercise review. The Romanian Deadlift is a fantastic closed chain movements that trains the Posterior Chain (Glutes, Hamstrings). In addition it teaches you to lock your spine and initiate the movement from the hips. Check out the video below for tutorial!

It is essential that the spine stays neutral throughout the movement. Practise this movement with your hands, move on to a broomstick before adding any external load. Once you groove the right pattern you can add Dumbbells, Barbell, and Kettlebell. The Romanian Deadlift is a fantastic exercise to add into your repertoire.
